Veronica Etaka Foundation (VEF) is a non-profit organization committed to extending support to orphans and widows, enabling them to lead fulfilling and dignified lives. Founded on the principles of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility, VEF strives to address the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals and communities, particularly orphans and widows who often lack access to essential resources and opportunities.

Our Goal

Providing Basic Needs

We prioritize ensuring that orphans have access to nutritious food, clean water, shelter, and clothing. We also assist widows in securing housing and meeting their basic needs, such as food and healthcare.

Education and Skill Development

We offer educational support to orphaned children, including scholarships and school supplies, enabling them to pursue their dreams. Additionally, we provide vocational training and job placement assistance to widows.

Psychosocial Support

We committed to addressing the emotional and psychological needs of orphans and widows. We establish counseling and mentorship programs and create safe spaces for support groups and community building activities to reduce feelings of isolation.

Healthcare Services

We ensure access to healthcare and regular check-ups for orphans and widows, promoting overall well-being. Additionally, we organize medical camps and health awareness initiatives in underserved communities.

Financial Assistance

Veronica Etaka Foundation provides financial assistance to cover school fees, medical bills, and other essential expenses for orphans. We also establish microfinance or small business support programs to help widows generate income and become self-reliant.

Community Empowerment

We engage with local communities to raise awareness about the challenges faced by orphans and widows and promote gender equality and women's empowerment to improve the status of widows in society.
